I'm looking forward to my CD's. Your work has given me so much pleasure, year after year. My previously purchased set of "One Man's Family" has been played multiple times, so having more of them to enjoy is pretty exciting. Keep up your good work! A VERY happy customer

WOW! If only there were many more of these available. I was hooked from the start to the finish. A beautiful soap opera - quite gritty and uncomfortable at times - charming at others. Father Barbour is a real nasty piece of work when he wants to be. The way he holds a grudge over his little Niece Margaret for saying she has him "in her pocket" was quite disturbing.
LOVED it! Wonderful sound as ever - fresh as the day it was waxed.

Father Barbour believes Marriage is Sacred.....

If familiar with this Show, Father Barbour's belief on Traditional Marriage will not surprise you. To him anything else was a sin. I am quoting from one of the Episodes in this Volume. How much we have changed as a Society since these shows were aired, and this last series, not really so long ago. If Tradition and Biblically based family values are appreciated by you, then you will enjoy this Show immensely. If not, then you will just consider it "Politically Incorrect" and either just ignore it or hopefully enjoy and listen to it as a delightful relic of the past.
For Carlton E. Morse who conceived this Radio show (along with many other icons of the Golden Age of Radio), and also listed as the "longest running show in Radio History", the morality of today would hardly be in his consciousness as a writer.
