They don't write "yellow peril" stories anymore. That is a good thing. Still, there is nothing like a great Asian villain bent on world domination. This guy is particularly ingenious and dangerous -- he is even able to take over the mind of Richard Wentworth! Fun from beginning to end.

"Emperor Of The Yellow Death" is a rather interesting adventure because it marks the first time - SPOILER ALERT - that The Spider falls under the mental influence of Wang-ba, a criminal mastermind for a brief period of time. Seeking to become the Emperor of America, Wang-ba makes his first attack by unleashing death and destruction through means of a lethal gas and a deadly chemical fire unleashed throughout New York City. Wang-ba also attempts to subdue New York City by a campaign of terror which includes beheading elected politicians and blowing up rail lines to isolate the city. Wang-ba also demands $100 million dollars to stop his campaign against New York City. SPOILER ALERT - there is one particular scene where Wang-ba shows his "mercy" to two minions that had failed him by having them devoured alive by the most unlikeliest of carnivores in nature. Wentworth also owes his life to an ally who sacrifices herself for him. GREAT PULP FUN!
