Radio Archives Pulp Classics
Suspense #2 eBook
Summer 1951

Total Pulp Experience. These exciting pulp adventures have been beautifully reformatted for easy reading as an eBook and features every story, every editorial, and every column of the original pulp magazine.

Inspired by the CBS Radio program series, Suspense Magazine brought readers the finest in tales of nail-biting thrills. It contained a wide variety of stories, from mystery to science fiction, from fantasy to the macabre, every one a real page-turner. Farrell Publications brought out the first issue in Spring of 1951, and priced this quarterly magazine at 35¢, when other magazines were more traditionally 20¢, so that it could pay its writers at a higher rate. It attracted names like William Tenn, John Dickson Carr, Theodore Sturgeon, Ray Bradbury, Ambrose Bierce and A.E. van Vogt. Unfortunately, financial constraints forced the magazine to close publication after only four issues. The final one was dated Winter 1952. Suspense Magazine returns in these vintage pulp tales, reissued for today’s readers in electronic format.
