Although this program was a late entry in the final years of the Golden Age of Radio, it stands up exceedingly well alongside any genre of its' type of programming offered including the LUX Radio Theater and others. Possibly because the adaptations are closer to our own time period or the excellent radio adaptions of the films in this series, the talented stars in each adaption with interviews by the Director, Screen Director's Playhouse is truly one of the great shows of radio. Well known and talented stars such as Joan Crawford, Tallulah Bankhead, Barbara Stanwyck and Frank Lovejoy contribute greatly to the show's place in radio history. The Radio Archives staff have restored the episodes from the original transcription discs to their original sound and tonal quality for crystal clarity in audio. Hopefully additional Volumes will come out soon. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I continue to get excellent service, receiving my orders within about three days of ordering with today's mail service, this is almost unheard of. The quality is superb, as I've had an opportunity to compare your work with some other suppliers. Keep up the good work.
