When this set went on sale I was on it like John Goodman on a baked ham. ESCAPE may not have the high velocity celebrity wattage of its sister series, SUSPENSE, but everything about the series is exemplary: acting, writing, direction, selection of stories, music, sound patterns, etc. An excellent buy!

Stories from the best of American Literature......

"The Diamond as Big as the Ritz" was based on a short story by F. Scott Fitzgerald and many other of the stories used for the stories on ESCAPE were also written by some of the most distinguished writer's in American Literature. The radio adaptions and the production standards are of the highest found in just about any radio show.
The Radio Archives staff continues to restore these vintage radio shows back to the crystal clear audio and tonal quality that was the case when the show initially aired on radio many years ago. You won't find any better restoration of these shows outside of the work done by the Radio Archives staff.
The various volumes come in heavy duty plastic boxes with individual plastic covers for added safety and protection. Downloads are available.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
