I love volumes 1 and 2. ironic twist endings to various crime stories. each episode has a different cast of characters, though often the same talented actors.

these shows from 1947, including what many consider to be the best episode, "seven steps to murder", are from the zenith of the program. the episodes of the fifties are seriously lacking and a good one after 1950 is rare- these are choice!!
