Film Noir of Radio............	May 28, 2022

Brian Donlevy was as successful on radio as he has been earlier in motion pictures. A recipient of an Academy Award Nomination for his performance in Beau Geste and well known to the motion picture audiences of the Golden Age of Hollywood, Brian Donlevy was well respected in the film industry and such respect continued into his radio work. Each episode of "Dangerous Assignment" is well written and the delivery is perfect for each actor. The stories are action packed with international political intrigue. If there is a film noir quality in radio as in film, "Dangerous Assignment" falls into such a category.

The Radio Archives staff has restored each of these radio programs back to their original sound and tonal quality. I have never heard vintage radio programs restored to a higher quality than what is restored by this special group of people dedicated to the preservation of early and vintage radio.

I greatly appreciate your audio editing efforts to create virtually noise free programs in all your old time radio programs. While some listeners are oblivious to the noise, I greatly appreciate and applaud your efforts. Thank you.
