Amazing cast of characters........	May 28, 2022

John Meston, the primary writer of the "Gunsmoke" stories (with editorial approval over the later writer's and their stories such as Les Crutchfield) created 4 unforgettable characters with the leads of Marshall Dillon, Chester, Doc Adams and Miss Kitty, but the characters who fill the many later shows are equally as intriguing if only heard once.

In this volume, we are introduced only once to Crowbait Bob, who fits that bill. There are many other characters that are in only one of the shows throughout the series, but their uniqueness shows the brilliance of "Gunsmoke's" creator John Meston and the unique names given these characters which became one of the Meston Hallmarks.

Gunsmoke is one of my favorite shows. So I was excited to get this set. The ability to download the CD, and the remastering quality was excellent. Was very happy about the two extra episodes.
